Hwa Chong Centre for Talent Development (CenTad)

CenTad is a one-stop facility that provides an integrated Science & Technology enrichment programme for many outstanding Hwa Chong Science students.  In addition, HCI has full-time Scientists-in-residence to mentor students’ projects and to conduct workshops in research methodology.

By bringing together the comprehensive range of science-related activities, we hope to give students a head-start in becoming leaders in research and industry, and incite passion for R&D in Biomedicine, Sciences and Engineering.

The various industries involved include Life Sciences and Pharmaceuticals, Info Tech and Communications, Electronics and Engineering.  Our extensive collaborations with renowned organisations include:
