PSC Scholarships 2024

Congratulations to our Hwa Chong Institution alumni awarded the prestigious Public Service Commission (PSC) Scholarship this year! These outstanding individuals will pursue their undergraduate studies at top institutions globally, from the US, UK, France, Japan and Singapore.

Their diverse fields of study include Engineering, Law, International Relations, and Environmental Studies. Each recipient is dedicated to serving our nation upon graduation, exemplifying the spirit of public service. The PSC Scholarship is the premier government award, recognizing merit and a commitment to serve.

The scholarships were presented by Mr Chan Chun Sing, Minister for Education, on 17 July 2024 at the Marina Bay Sands Expo & Convention Centre. In his speech, Minister Chan Chun Sing emphasized the importance of the Public Service Commission (PSC) Scholarships as a call to serve and lead Singapore into the future. He highlighted the challenges past generations faced, the evolving global and domestic challenges ahead, and the need for resilience, gumption, and a commitment to building a thriving, united nation. He urged scholarship recipients to take on leadership roles, remain focused, and contribute to Singapore's continued success and development.
