Student Visual Storytelling Awards 2024

We are proud to announce Hwa Chong Institution’s commendable results at the inaugural Student Visual Storytelling Awards, organised by Objectifs, an independent non-profit visual arts space in Singapore focused on film and photography.

The theme of this year’s competition, ‘World Around Me’, invited participants to craft compelling visual narratives which reflect their interpretations of this theme.

Our student, Wu Cheng Sheng (24S66) clinched the Second Runner-up position for the prestigious Student Photographer of The Year award, while the 5-member team from Studio Ardent, consisting of Jian YiXuan (23A14), Huang Zheng Han (23S62), Qian Yi (23S6B), Tan Ding Xun (23S6Q), and Tang Zhong Gavin (23S6J), clinched the first Runner-up position 🥈for the Photo Club of The Year award.
