Xin Kong Xia Xinyao Songwriting Competition 2024

7月27日，第十届《新空下》新谣歌唱及创作比赛大决赛隆重举行。主办方希望把新谣带进邻里，因此今年的比赛地点就设在人流量很高的淡滨尼天地，以期更多人能认识并爱上本地创作。我校学生一如既往地踊跃参赛，并在各个组别皆有所斩获。

在歌曲填词组，王绥睿 (4A2) 以《星语》夺得季军。徐辉耀（23S62）和刘之欣 (23S67) 凭着高度默契演唱的《社会大学》拿下合唱组亚军。在创作（创意）组中，卢冠毅 (23S6G) 和徐辉耀以温馨感人的《如果走散了》获得亚军。这首歌描述失智母亲对女儿无限的爱与关怀，饱含真情的演绎触动心灵。中学部的郭俊峰 (4P3) 和学姐胡欣彤 (24S6G) 携手创作的《远亲不如近邻》则以轻快的旋律唱出了组屋生活以及邻居相处之道，引起强烈共鸣，荣获冠军是实至名归的。

这些优秀创作与精彩表演的背后离不开同学们的辛勤付出，期盼每一届华中儿女都能继续灌溉这片词曲创作园地，让它开花结果，郁郁葱葱，蔚然成林。

On 27 Jul 2024, our talented students took part in the Committee to Promote Chinese Language Learning’s (CPCLL) annual Xinyao songwriting competition at Our Tampines Hub. 

For the second consecutive year, Hwa Chong has achieved remarkable results, clinching one Champion award, two 1st Runner-up awards, and one 2nd Runner-up award, along with several merit awards. 

These accolades are a testament to the thriving and supportive songwriting community that has flourished within Hwa Chong, reflecting our students’ diverse talents and our unique school spirit.
