School fees payable by Singaporean students on MOE Scholarship
Please note that the annual award quantum cap of $2,400 for all MOE scholarships will apply to all students.
The Edusave or any other MOE Scholarships will cover the school fees of $200 per month and the student needs to pay the balance of the monthly school fees to HCI unless the student is also a recipient of MOE Independent School Bursary (ISB).

School fees payment
The school fees payable is structured by spreading an annual fee over 12 months of the academic year. As such, students who join in February have to pay fees for January; and those who leave on or after 5th October will have to pay fees for November and December.
School fees will be deducted through Interbank Giro on 15th of each month; or the next working day if the 15th day of the month falls on a weekend or Public Holiday, unless otherwise advised.

Interbank Giro Application Form
It is compulsory for all students to take part in the Inter-bank Giro scheme. Parents / guardians are to submit the Interbank Giro application form for the scheme upon admission of their child/ward to HCI.This is to facilitate the school to collect school fees and any other fees as may be required from time to time.

Students who require financial assistance at any point of time can approach either their Form teachers or Head of Consortium for advice on the application for the above funds.
4 . Trip for Internationalization Experience (TIE)
- For Singapore Citizens, the TIE provides a subsidy for overseas
learning journeys to Asia with a focus on ASEAN countries, school immersion
programmes and student exchange programmes with a cultural focus. The TIE
fund needs no application and is granted to all Singaporean students who
are going on eligible overseas trips.

MOE Independent School Bursary (ISB) Scheme
Eligibility Criteria
Student is a Singapore Citizen, and meets either the gross monthly household income (GHI) or per capita income (PCI) criterion shown in the table below.
Tenure of Bursary
All MOE ISB approved will be valid till December of the year or when your child is no longer eligible for financial assistance, whichever is earlier. Fresh applications will have to be submitted for each school year.
Effective Month
Student can apply for MOE ISB at any time of the year. It will take effect in the month the application is approved. There will be no backdating of the effective month.
Newly admitted students are to submit their ISB application latest by end Feb 2025 for ISB subsidy to take effect from Jan 2025.

Students need only satisfy either the monthly Gross Household Income (GHI) or the PCI criterion to qualify for ISB. More information can be found in the Annex I of the ISB Application Form.
Completed ISB Application Form, together with required supporting documents are to be submitted to High School or College Reception Office.
Student Insurance Matter
(I) MOE GROUP PERSONAL ACCIDENT INSURANCE FOR STUDENTS

All students are automatically insured under the Group Personal Accident (GPA) Insurance which covers death, permanent and total/partial disability and medical expenses due to an accident. The proximate or triggering causes of injuries must be reasonably attributed to an accident. The GPA Insurance covers each student when that student is: (a) In his or her school; (b) Participating in the school’s activities, or any activity related to or endorsed by the school, including Home-Based Learning (HBL), Co-Curricular Activities (“CCAs”) and sports, regardless of the time at which such activities are conducted and whether the activities are conducted in the school, in Singapore, or elsewhere; (c) Commuting from (or to) his or her place of residence, including a hostel, to (or from) either the school’s premises or the place where an activity covered by the GPA Insurance will be conducted, including any reasonable deviations. For the avoidance of doubt, the student’s place of residence may include a place that is not in Singapore Please refer to the GPA Factsheet for details of Benefits/Sum Insured and other important information. Claim Submission Procedure |
Parents/guardians will have to pay for medical treatments upfront, before submitting claims to Income Insurance Limited (Income Insurance) for reimbursement. Please note the applicable limits and coverage for medical expenses. Ineligible expenses or expenses in excess of the limits will be borne by the students/parents/guardians. Parents/guardians should also take note that medical treatments at private hospitals will typically cost higher, and parents/guardians may need to pay more out-of-pocket expenses if treatment costs exceed the policy’s coverage limits. All claims must be submitted online by parents/guardians as soon as possible subjected to a cap of 365 days from the date of accident, via the Income’s GPA Claim Portal at https://studentgpa.incomegroupins.com.sg Please submit all required documents as listed in the GPA Factsheet Parents/guardians can also access the above Claim Portal to follow up on claim submission and make enquiry on claim status. |
(II) MOE TRAVEL INSURANCE

MOE Schools Travel insurance covers accidental death, injury, sickness, loss or damage, legal liability or other specified event occurring to students and teacher chaperones during their school trips. The school will purchase travel insurance from Income for the travel group. Premium for students will be recovered by the school as part of the overseas trip costs. Claim Submission Procedure |
Personal travel insurance claims such as medical expenses/benefits or baggage loss/damage (where 100% of the settlements are to be paid to the individual claimants) are be submitted directly by the parents/guardians to Income. Insurance claims involving recovering of group trip costs (eg airfare for the group in the case of cancelled trip) for school’s subsidized trips will be submitted by the school. All claims must be submitted using either the Income Online Claims Portal OR MOE Travel Claims Form. MOE Travel Claims Form 1. Copy of the claims form can be downloaded from: https://www.income.com.sg/claims/travel-claims (Select “Ministry of Education Travel claim form”). The required supporting documents for claims submission can be found in Page 2 of the claims form. Note that the claims form to be endorsed and stamped by the school. 2.
